How do I get started with TamtuBistro?

We handle everything. Once you sign up, our team schedules a setup visit — we deliver the equipment, install your system, import your menu, and train your staff. The whole process usually takes a couple of hours.

Do I need to buy any equipment?

No. We provide and set up all the equipment your restaurant needs — screens, printers, card readers, everything. There's nothing for you to buy, configure, or maintain.

Does it work if my internet goes out?

Yes. Your system runs locally inside your restaurant. Orders, payments, and printing all keep working without internet. When your connection comes back, everything syncs up automatically.

What payment methods can I accept?

You can accept all major credit and debit cards, process refunds, split checks, and add tips — all from one screen. End-of-day settlement happens with a single tap.

How does the AI avatar ordering work?

Customers walk up to the kiosk and a lifelike avatar greets them on screen. They place their order by simply talking — the avatar listens, responds, suggests items, and handles the whole experience naturally. It speaks 9 languages and feels like talking to a real person.

Can I customize the avatar?

Yes. Every system comes with a default avatar, but you can order a custom avatar designed to match your restaurant's branding, theme, or mascot. Want a friendly chef character that represents your restaurant? We can make that happen.

How do I change my menu?

Log in to your TamtuBistro portal from any computer or phone. You can edit items, update prices, add photos, and organize categories. Or use the AI Menu Builder — snap a photo of your paper menu or describe your dishes, and the system sets everything up for you.

Can I manage multiple locations?

Yes. Your TamtuBistro portal lets you manage all your locations from one login. View reports across stores, keep menus in sync or customize them per location, and get AI insights for each one.

What languages are supported?

TamtuBistro supports 9 languages: English, Spanish, Korean, Russian, Filipino, Vietnamese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Thai. Every screen, receipt, and voice interaction works in your preferred language.

How does billing work?

Simple monthly plan with no hidden fees. No long-term contracts — you can cancel anytime with 30 days notice.
